Abstract This address begins with a discussion of ethical reasoning in Paul’s letters. The unsystematic character his discourse and its variety are emphasized. second part is comparison two recent approaches, the ecclesial ethics Stanley Hauerwas Jürgen Habermas. third consideration feminist womanist as approaches that fundamentally challenge terms authority usefulness for white women black women. conclusion includes observation ethics, promising appropriating today because they all take up an important theme letters: importance dealing conflict while maintaining difference.
